==History==
Mikhail Klashnikov, along with his two brothers, founded Brothers of Tyr in 2013. His brothers soon fell off the game but he stuck.<br>
When returning from a long break in 2021, Mikhail immediately started building the corporation again. The first foray into null was as a rentercorp in Frat. It was quickly decided that this was not where BROTYs future lay.<br>

Mikhail took the corp with him over to Dracarys. The majority of BROTYs current leadership joined up during the 18 months we spent here, and this is where the core group got established. After growing in here for a while, we found that DC was not well enough suited for the kind of corp we were trying to build and applied for Goons.<br>

We were accepted and moved ourselves into Period Basis. The backwater region. Our home systems were quite isolated from the main population of goonswarm, and we shared our pocket with corps primarily in RU and CN timezones. This meant plenty content with little competition, but also meant we had to organize ourselves well to support the membership. We grew our buyback, we set up in-corp logistics and we started investing in opportunities for our members.<br>

It is during this time that our dear leader and founder, Mikhail, decided to win eve for good for personal reasons. Joey Valleck was chosen as his successor.<br>

When the great migration from Delve was announced, we were already well prepared to support our members through the move. In-corp logistics routes and crews were used and we all got moved safely and efficiently into the southeast with Goonswarm.<br>

We picked a more central location for our next home here, 1-7KWU in Impass. This brought some challenges logistically, as content was now very spread out (Equinox pl0x), but we managed. We invested in a fully featured CEZ, and eventually acquired our own Keepstar with enormous help from a few members. <br>

After the invasion of Insmother and the surrounding area was completed and the subsequent move was announced, we quickly bought into the opportunities that the new space would provide. With little quarrelling, we were eager to get moved up and start building again with fresh lessons in mind from what we had learned settling new space twice in the previous 12 months.<br>

Our CEZ now spans 2 systems, with the Keepstar as our centerpiece in a logistically advantageous location. We have over 40 moons, corp stagings in ratting & ice systems, highly competitive buyback and a system for redistributing inputs to our industrialists below market prices. We were among the highest contributing gooncorps to the invasion and glassing of Dronelands.<br>

And while that might read like the last paragraph scrolling down the screen as BROTY rides into the sunset, it is not.<br>
