Asher Elias:

All right. Hello all. How you doing? Yeah, I almost said I was back from buying cigs, but then I remember this is a family alliance. I didn't wanna imply that I was buying, you know, narcotics. That's not a narcotic is it? What is a cigarette, like it's bad for you? A vice stimulant. Stimulant Vice. A stimulant. Yeah. There you go.

Snipereagle1:

What's wrong with buying special interest groups?

Asher Elias:

Oh, geez, dude, that's so stupid.

Snipereagle1:

Hey, you missed me. You know it.

Ranger Gama:

You've missed dad jokes from Sniper for three weeks, man.

Asher Elias:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Welcome back. Diogenes says he did not know I was gone, but welcomes me back nonetheless.

I don't know if I should answer this one. Mortimer says, do you know the difference between an orphan and someone whose dad has left to get milk? I do not.

Ranger Gama:

Oh damn.

Asher Elias:

The orphan knows where their dad is. Rough.

Snipereagle1:

Jesus.

Asher Elias:

Rough.

Ranger Gama:

Wow.

Asher Elias:

How many people in the alliance do you think actually are like, like a deadbeat dad who left to get, you know, milk and cigarettes and has not returned? What do you think the number, there's statistically, there's probably a few, right? And that they are just hanging out right now. We're getting some Xs. Okay.

Ranger Gama:

The fact that none of you nerds wrote 42 or four 20 or something, I'm disappointed in you.

Asher Elias:

So who's winning Eurovision tonight? I have, I do not follow Eurovision. Is there like only a couple countries left or is it everyone still available? 26 countries left. Oh, okay. Well, yeah, it won't be a big country. It won't be Germany. It won't be England or the uk, however they say it. It won't be Israel. It won't be, it probably won't be France. So I'll tell you, those are the countries that won't win.

What is Eurovision? Someone can explain it to 'em. It's like a singing constant, competition. It's very weird. If you don't know what it is. It is very unusual. It's sort of European idol, but if they represent countries, it's like the World Cup except for theater kids. When, when Europeans say Americans are weird, this is one of the things I think about is Eurovision. It's like, we're the weird ones.

Leraine says, you guys play egg ball, which is not even the made up name, Leraine. It's hand egg is what they say.

Ranger Gama:

Hand egg ball.

Asher Elias:

All right, so we got a lot to talk about. I've been out three weeks. Thank you to the people who stepped up and did the fireside while I wasn't here. I heard Ryohei did a good job. I heard Ranger talked a lot, but I am now back.

I got some stuff to talk about. So the patch, I have not had a chance to talk to you guys about it. I know that the other guys probably did, but we have a patch coming out in about two weeks from now. In less than two weeks really. So, a lot of changes. Let me just say, people have been asking about Titans. They've been saying, you know, what Titan should I get, you know, all this kind of stuff. The Erebus might be the strongest titan after the patch. Let me explain why. The logi changes make it so that you can get more reps than you used to before that. And I see internet night saying, Erebus, fuck that, Leviathan. We have so many leviathans in build right now. We would actually like to have more Erebus. The Leviathan can only get one set of reps, the Erebus, and to a lesser degree, the Avatar double tank. But the Erebus has a legit shield tank and a legit armor tank. So if you're being shot by dreadnoughts, which is probably the most likely scenario these days, you can get full shield reps and full armor reps in the Erebus. So if you're thinking about what Titan to get, I would definitely say Erebus, Levi, Ragnarok, and then distant distant bar avatar. Don't get yourself an avatar.

But, Erebus is a, as soon as I heard those changes, I was really excited about owning an Erebus because that is an excellent hull now that it can catch basically full dual reps.

Apple Pear:

Viserion, his titan was saved by test when we did the X-47 fight because of shield reps. So, yeah, they're, it's really strong.

Asher Elias:

Yeah. Yeah. So if you don't know, they basically introduced a limit, like a, you can only get so many reps from armor and so much from shield. Well, they've increased that limit. And so since the Erebus gets both armor and shield reps, and they're both relatively strong, relatively competent, the Erebus has a reasonable enough shield tank and a good armor tank, those reps actually mean that you essentially can rep under faxes way more than anyone else can. So if you're under fire, if you're getting DD'd, your tagging's gonna get blown up no matter what. Right? You just die to DDs, it's just math. So it doesn't matter. But if you're under fire and you're catching reps, the Erebus is going to catch. So as soon as I heard that change, I was excited about it. I wanted to share it with you guys. You do not need to be competent to be an Erebus pilot. Anyone can be an Erebus pilot.

Whatcha guys arguing about in the chat? I'm not gonna read it. I got other things to read.

Okay. Vultures. We are doing a vulture fleet now. Have you guys heard about this? Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? We're doing a vulture fleet and vultures are awesome. We have, we've experienced them already. They have been great. They are the command ship version of the ferox. They're just way better. Then the ferox or the ferox navy by quite a bit. We plan to use them a lot. Celeron says vultures are kind of ugly. I mean, I don't think the hull is that good looking, but I don't think it's ugly either. They're just sort of utilitarian, which is I think cool for spaceships. So if you guys are not training for vultures, go ahead and train.

If you have skill points, go ahead and be saving those for the patch. Your capital pilots especially should be saving them for the doomsday bonuses for Titan pilots. That's an important thing to do, but, vultures, everyone should be training towards that.

We are leaving Slepnirs, yes, that is now retired. DAKA fleet is gone. Vulture Fleet is the new hotness and thank goodness it is so much better than tne. I, I was never really a fan of that doctrine personally. And, its just worlds apart. The vulture is a whole different class. So there you go.

And let's see what else I wanna talk about. Yeah, bubbles. If you haven't watched any meltdowns this week, remember we are not allowed to anchor bubbles in our own space. So if you were putting bubbles on gates, you were doing it wrong. I just wanna say we had like a, a stupid incident, but you know, someone, someone was shooting a bubble at the very edge of our space. That's really not what the rule is for. It's for keeping people from getting, you know, traveling through our space and slowing them down. We don't want that happening. We want our fleets to be able to respond very fast in our space. So, that is the purpose of the rule, but if you don't know about it, do not anchor any bubbles in our space, unless you have been told by an FC of some sort to do so. If you see a bubble, go ahead and just report it to someone and we'll make sure it gets taken down or an and or shot.

Kumi says, I put that on the list as a joke. I, kumi, I don't know if you know, I am Ron Burgundy. I will read anything that is written down on the list.

F2s guys, we need F2s now more than ever. It has been scaled up to the point where F2s, the F2s are your alternate pilots. Your alternate characters. They are so strong now that, and they're, we have so many good plans for them, that if you can get, you know, a second, third, fourth, 18th account, whatever it is. Get your F2s ready. Those things are incredibly powerful. We're already using them in Delve, we have plans for other things. So I really want you guys to get F2s ready. I know we've been talking about dreads a lot. I think dreads and F2s are probably the thing I should just talk about every week. I don't do it every week 'cause I don't want you guys to just get bored of hearing the same thing. But F2s are extremely important.

For CAD, Control Alt Delve. We are doing buybacks for Feroxes. So, and yes, internet night points out F2s are not the same as CAD alts. Those are a totally different thing.

And Celron runs says, what is an F2? An F2 is an alternate pilot. You know, it is a secondary pilot, a third pilot, a fourth character that you can use at the same time. Yeah, we, we, we'd love an F3 and an F4, Tariel. Oh, you can do Alt-F4. That would probably be the best way you could play this game. So, go ahead and do that.

CAD is updating to FNIs. So go ahead and get your Ferox and we will be buying that back and getting your CAD into a Ferox Navy Issue.

Danny Snyder has written, Titans Save your Skill points. I think I've already mentioned that. But, that, and then Kumi writes, Vily is the best FC in the game. Thank you for testing me. I, I will read whatever is written. I will also kick you from the Alliance after I do that. So, Heidi says Your waifus are trash. I don't know what that means, but apparently it has meaning to someone. So, if that means something to you, you should take that to heart that your waifus are trash.

Ranger Gama:

All right. For the

Asher Elias:

Go ahead Ranger. Sorry.

Ranger Gama:

Yeah, for the CAD stuff, guys, all the details are in the MOTD, the CAD Corp. So get in there. We will tell you how much just do it where we'll take 'em back. All that stuff is in the MOTD, the CAD corp.

Asher Elias:

Zoe Kazar says, shout out to Llama for FCing at Fan fest. All right, llama. Good job. And BP says there'll be, he will be accepting more CAD apps today. Squid says, my wife will not be happy to hear that. I'm sorry you learned out, this way Squid. Okay. That is everything that people have written down for me to read without processing it, and I will now answer questions.

Well, I will actually try to process your question and answer it. Yeah. And the directorate just has a teleprompter for me that is a hundred percent accurate. That's a bingo futility.

49-U move op. Yep. Happening after, after the fireside. Indeed.

Did I have a nice holiday? Very much so. Sapphire. I had a great time. I talked a little bit about on the Merkelchan Stream. If you get me in a fleet, you can go ahead and, ask me some questions. I got a lot of great stories.

War when says Balthazar Kognagon. Anyway, future plans.

Tell us about your standup show. Honestly, I will.

Why are F2 so important now? That's a great question. I know. I just spent a time talking about them. And the reason is, We have ways to use your effort at scale without requiring you to press as many buttons, do as many things so that when you add a second character or a third character, you're adding 10% to your processing level, but you're adding 80% to your effectiveness. I hope this makes sense to you. What we are saying is that, we can have you, your second character be 80% as effective as your first, but you only put 10% more effort into it. Okay. And so that's like, that's the kind of powerful scaling that makes us win fights, win wars, winning deployments, winning engagements, whatever it is that's going on. That, so when we spend a lot of time working on that.

Sapphire Bloodstone says, or blood says, thought on Init's content deployment. Yeah, I mean, I understand. You know, that's, a good idea and, Shines and I have been talking a lot lately. We're always chatting usually, and, I think he's gonna have some fun, but, it's a tough road to hoe. I mean, they have a, they have a time zone issue. They fought today and they were, you know, very much outnumbered. But they're gonna have to, you know, do, do the kind of things you do when you're outnumbered.

Unfortunately my jabber just crashed, so let me pull it back up and I'll answer more question. I will have lost scroll back whenever I get back in. So just be aware.

I saw someone ask about surgical strike reverts, so I can discuss that while my, Pidgin is rebooting. But, yeah, I, I think that's gonna be good for us. I think Surgical Strike had a really, noble goal. I don't think it really, I don't think it really reached where, you know, the, the ideals that were put to it, you know, people thought surgical, surgical strike would, you know, renew fighting in the game, that it was too easy to stalemate in the game. But it just turned out people became, more mobile, mobilely, risk averse. You know, you saw it in the HAC meta where just they didn't try to commit to anything. So, I think the reverts are, are good for us and, and the way that we wanna fight, and I think that people like to brawl. For me, as an fc I personally like to, fight over. I, I like to fight less mobile targets and I like to pick 'em apart. That's like one of the, one of my favorite styles. And so I think it'll lead to a meta that I enjoy more, which is being able to fight around a fleet rather than have people just running in every direction. So, I think there's gonna be a lot of fun for a bunch of us. As Atrum just said, kitey bullshit.

I am back into Elysium.

Beyondnoxx says didn't you used to be an fc. Thank you very much. Yes, I did.

Bring back old Cerberuses. Unlikely the Cerberus has been changed far too much.

1DQ by Christmas. Just a matter of when, you know what christmas?

Will we get a rupture doctrine after the patch. Says Sapphire blood span. Man, we did ruptures. The last time we did ruptures, we were attacking Delve when pizza held it. And there were just a thousand bombers. There was Carbon Fury. There was the guy from Pizza who bombed all the time, I can't remember his name. Crude was doing the multi boxers, and when I say these were all one person doing eight or 14, and those ruptures exploded all the time.

Internet night says, Asher, you're recording your voice for posterity. When you die, can we generate new fireside content with the Dead Emperor? I heard that's the hot new thing in the media. So yeah, internet night, there already are AI models that people have trained on my voice and, I have heard some propaganda where I say outrageous things like they have, they had the model making me say, really outrageous things. So if you hear, if you hear a clip of me saying something that it feels like I probably wouldn't, that's probably what it is. I know there are multiple like models trained to do that. It is a weird world we live in. I am pretty uncomfortable with that, but you know, it is what it is. I either have to just stop talking or, actually it's probably too late for that. So, you know, but that, that is something that actually exists.

Yeah, Ceema says Ai-sher Elais. That's pretty good.

A Zealous Retort says incredible levels of deniability. I mean, that is true. I've actually thought about that. Where, you know, any recording in the future, you know, some politician, 20 years from now, they have a recording of them saying something terrible, just go, that's just ai, that's not real. That's not me. So even if it was, you know, you never know, but I have actually heard some of the recordings and they are, really weird. It's really weird to hear purportedly yourself saying these things you would never say.

Internet night says, I heard Asher saying the new meta is going to include Lance dreads. I mean, I think they will find a use immediately, or no, sorry. I mean, not immediately. They will find a new use eventually. I, I still don't know that they're there. I don't, I don't really see it, but you know, if it ever happens you can just say, Hey, you're wrong. And I'll be like, okay.

Could you say rubber baby bugger bug, bug. Nope, I can't. Could you say rubber baby buggy bumper?

Ranger Gama:

That was awesome.

Asher Elias:

Rubber baby buggy bumper. I have a hard time with that one. There you go.

Lancer dread use case equal when you're already winning. I, I kind of think that might be too true, Gb.

Asher, what is the appropriate levels of spice that belong in a breakfast? I, I mean, you know what my answer is, but I would say some pepper is fine with breakfast.

Ranger Gama:

And by that he means sitting in the shaker next to his breakfast.

Asher Elias:

Ceema says, is there any plan by Illum to address the rampant depth of Wegman's spaghetti sauce by an ADFU director? I don't know. I haven't heard about this theft. I do remember it, one of the fanfest in Vegas that ELO Knight stole a bunch of booze and people got really pissed off. So, you know.

Kazanir:

No, no, no. That was Ron Mexico, wasn't it?

Asher Elias:

I thought it was Elo, maybe. Maybe they were at a crew. Maybe it was a whole heist, you know, like a New Orleans jailbreak basically.

Kazanir:

Yeah. This, I remember something happening in 2014 that I don't, didn't, I never got all the specifics of, but I thought it was right.

Asher Elias:

Yeah. Misc says, you're doing a great job, Asher. Thank you. I appreciate that, Misc. I very much appreciate that.

This is possibly, I can't answer, but I will read nonetheless. Amarrian MLV4 says In the updated ratting fit thread, 2024 thread, it says We can mine in highlighted systems in Catch with Rorq saying if we mine outside of it, we need Delve911 if in trouble. Is the implication...

Snipereagle1:

I'll answer this for Asher.

Asher Elias:

That beehive can save on, on those highlighted Catch systems. Beehive thread doesn't cover Catch. Go ahead Sniper.

Snipereagle1:

Beehive and Delve911 have nothing to do with each other.

Asher Elias:

So Saana cheese says that they do not remember what they did in 20,143, which just proves that saana cheese is from 20,000 years in the future. Time traveler confirmed. Welcome to the past.

Futility says, are the Florida Panthers going to win the Stanley Cup? I mean, sure. I hope I am a Fairweather fan of the Panthers, I will say, and I will, I will not claim them any other than I just, I root for them when I, when I, you know, they do well. Dallas Stars will great if you do. Feel free to send me a mean message and I'll be like, wow, I'm so upset.

Isn't the Stanley Cup tainted with lead? I mean, I know you do. You do use lead in silver work. I know that is a thing, so that might be true. You're probably not supposed to drink from it, but I imagine having one giant bottle of champagne out of it probably won't kill you from the lead, right.

The best team in the WNBA, I have no opinion on that.

Kazanir:

It's the ACEs.

Asher Elias:

Oh, Victoria asked me a question. I am more, able to comment on, with the Celtics and the Cavs out, who gets the finals from the East New York or Indiana? I think Indiana is gonna have the, the, good fortune to be pasted in the NBA finals. Whoever makes it outta that group is gonna lose, like it's just the west is so much stronger than the east.

Why are we talking about sports, says Vivian Sagan. I will answer any, basically any question, Vivian. So if you want me to talk about not sports, about EVE Online, about anything, I will answer that question, but you need to put it out here.

Sports question. Get some? Yeah, go ahead. Apple.

Apple Pear:

I heard about the NBA, that it's rigged, et cetera, like but there was some, yeah.

Asher Elias:

Like the craziest thing. So I'll tell you the story really quickly. This way you can talk about your water cooler with your friends who are into sports balls.

Internet night. Send me your question again after I answer this 'cause I, it's a little long for me to read right now. So, the Dallas Mavericks are an NBA team. They have Luka, who is a top eight player in the league, maybe top five, a great player. And they went ahead and trained a, traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Lakers are the, like golden boy team of the NBA, it, it's like the real Madrid, right? You know, the most beloved team. And they traded him for nothing. And I mean very, very little. And everyone was a, you know, incensed, the Dallas fans are going crazy, like they were boycotting the NBA, the boycotting, the Mavericks. And then the ma, the Mavericks had a 1.8% chance of getting the number one draft pick this year. There's a guy coming up who is considered a, a surefire prospect to be an amazing basketball player, and that 1.8% chance, they won the draft, they get the number one pick. So, everyone believes that the NBA told them to send Luca to the Lakers and then gave them the draft pick. And I am, I am on board with that. You know that it's, that's probably right.

Internet. What was your question?

Trix or fruit loops? I would say, fruit loops because Trix are for kids.

Ranger Gama:

Oh my God.

Asher Elias:

Wow.

Snipereagle1:

How much did you make off of that?

Asher Elias:

Yeah. Pi Ka mentions the rigged draft for Ewing. That's when they froze the envelope so they could tell which one had the Knicks name in it.

I need updates on Sumo. I've missed so much of it. Yeah. So I haven't watched last nights, but I am up to date on it. So, Hoshoryu got promoted to Yoko Zuna and he is not doing very well. He's four and two now. He was two and two earlier. I don't know what happened yesterday, but it is, there's a young kid, Ona Sato, who is an Ozaki, which is the second highest rank. And if he wins this tournament, which he is undefeated right now, he will get promoted to Yoka Zuna and he's Japanese. And the Japanese are so covetous of getting a Japanese Yoka Zuna. So it is something very exciting. I probably will stream, the last three or four days of the tournament. So if you wanna watch that, and I will explain when I stream. So for people who don't watch Sumo, because Sumo is a great sport and once you know more about it. And I'll probably ping that out so that you guys can watch if you want to. We did that last one and people really enjoyed it, so, or two ones ago actually. but, it's about 20 minutes a day. It's not that long. 30 minutes a day.

New exploration sov upgrade are coming, but CCP says it won't bring ghost sites initially. Will we still have an exploration related sov upgrade? These detected sites will have a chance to give exploration escalation sites. Amarrian asks this question. So you're asking a question I I can't answer Amarrian, and first of off, I don't, I don't know the answer. Yeah, go ahead.

Snipereagle1:

Yeah, we'll definitely put some of these in. What's really cool about them actually, so there was a follow up stream, on Friday that I watched through. So they affect the surrounding systems, not just the system it's in. So it goes five jumps out from the system where the upgrade is installed. So. We'll definitely look at, you know, getting them in. If you do have two that overlap, they do stack. Yeah. So we're gonna see where we can get these. But yeah, we will definitely, definitely have some of them.

Asher Elias:

Someone asked me thoughts on Bobaroga and I don't know if, I don't know.

Snipereagle1:

Trig Marauder.

Asher Elias:

Ah, I was thinking there is a, some wrestler named Barga. I didn't know the name of the trick. Marauder. Yeah, I mean, we'll see, right? I don't think I, I, I, I have, like, I am not as up to date of this patch as I'd like to be. 'cause I was outta town during a lot of the release, so I haven't caught up on everything yet. But, from what people have been telling me, it's gonna be like a good ESS defender and other things. So, we'll see. I think it's gonna be, you know. Something that we probably will not use in a fleet capacity, but we've had a Leshak doctrine before and I think we're basically the only major alliance that's ever had one. So, never say never. I really like the Leshak doctrine and, I wouldn't mind bringing it back, if the situation is right. Zintage says incorrect. Init had a Leshak doctrine as well. I think they used that one time in it, but I'm not, I am not sure if that's correct. Maybe they used it more. I don't remember seeing it much.

Apple Pear:

Sorry to be..

Asher Elias:

Structures. We did actually use them in, multiple fights. Beer.

Apple Pear:

Yeah. Fighting is fun in Leshaks, but sorry to be a bit annoying, but we have a gate move and et cetera. And I take it three minutes starting. That would be very nice.

Asher Elias:

All right. You're welcome to go. I'm gonna keep answering questions, people, but yeah, if you're here and you're waiting for the move op, go ahead and head on over for that one. You're free to ping it. I just wanna make sure we get all the questions 'cause I have not been here.

Is the anchorable bubble rule a conspiracy to give CCP more money with new Omega HIC accounts or debate Merk into spicy moments. So, yeah, it's basically the, the real reason is so that people could move around our space quickly and efficiently. It was, we were having problems losing people because someone had just dropped the bubble. They weren't attending it, you know, it was, it was a problem. And it's just easier just to have a blanket rule. Like a better rule would be like, here are the regions you can't drop bubbles, and these systems are there, and you know, but. It, it's just such a pain. Someone has to maintain that stuff and then there's fights over what is going on. So we like to use blanket rules and hope people have some common sense. And sometimes it doesn't work that way, but that it's just easier to do it despite, for the all volunteer workforce in Goon Swarm Federation and the Imperium.

Asher, when you were in Iceland, did you tell CCP to change the Ansiblex changes back? I'm actually relatively happy with the Ansiblex changes as far as, you know, what, you know, they're doing, so I, I don't really have a big problem. I was expecting maybe them to go a little harder on them. So, I, I, I definitely did not send up any complaints about what they changed, a few months ago.

Mark Watney, Space Pirate the 8th. Wow, what a name says, it would be cool if we declared war on one of the neighboring alliances. And I think you're signing your post by saying a very new goon hungry for some action. So Mark Watney, Space Pirate the 8th, who signed your post, at least you didn't o7 me. I'll give you that. But that is a future plans thing. Generally we do not get into them. But I do agree. I do think it would be cool.

Zoe Kaizar says you were at Fan Fest and you didn't say, hi. Zoe. I didn't, I didn't say that I was at fan fest or not.

Ranger is o7ing me to annoy me. It is working.

Sapphire explaining to people about the bubbles, how they were slowing people from getting what to be.

Are we gonna be able to super rat again? I can't answer that question that that's saying. Sounds like a beehive thing. No. Okay. Yeah, I mean, it's just, dreads are just way better, right? As far as isk per hour versus what you're risking. So, you know, like to, to replace your super, you have to rat for so long. This is like one thing I I, I'd like to just touch on really quickly, while, while the entire chat is, o7ing me, but, if you have a Ishtar, right, and you're out there and you're spinning, and it takes maybe, what, like three hours, maybe four hours to replace the hull. Who knows that that's a, an estimate. It changes. But, you know, in four hours you're making money. Okay? If you have a super and you're running crab beacons in your super, say you make, like, let's say you make, per tick, an extra 3 million ISK, the amount of time it would over a dread, the amount of time it would take to catch up to, to that difference is so immense that you, you could never expect to in one lime, lifetime, you know, exceed that. So it just doesn't make sense to have a super ratting when the dread is so much closer, to that number and 10 times safer if you die. You know, you, you, you're replacing the dread in a matter of days and you're replacing the super in a matter of like, long months and, and it just makes no sense to get that extra optimization. And I know some of you like really like that tiny little optimization. I get that, you know, big number make brain happy, but, it just doesn't make sense.

Isn't double rorq comparable anyway? Yeah, it's pretty close.

Lord Crom says, what do you think about Aniki? The Ukrainian. He is a lot better than Shihi. You indeed, right? Lord Crom. That Aniki is like doing amazing. He is only a magashira nine, so he hasn't bought any really tough competition. But I imagine that, you know, if he not, imagine, if he wins about three more matches, they'll start giving him a higher level competition. They'll give him like a magashira one, and then if they, he wins that one, they'll give him someone in senyaku just to prove himself or get knocked down some.

CCP Okami mentioned carrier updates coming. T2 Supers when? So Amarrian, and just for anyone, they...

Internet Night says if you're joining the move op. Remember to leave the fireside mumble room. Indeed.

So, CCP does not tell me any information. I I understand that Ratatti mentioned that we are friends on the fireside, or not fireside on his keynote or something. I, I missed that part, but, I do not have any secret information. And, we have always had a really strong firewall between our CSM and our leadership. When I was coming up, it really annoyed me. I, I, I've come to understand the wisdom of it, but, you know, I have no more info than you do. You know, as a line member or as a leader. I don't get any CSM info. I don't get any, you know, if a CCP dev messaged me and told me something, I mean, I, I would have the info, but, that doesn't happen either. So, you, your, your information is as much as mine, which is what is ever is public.

What's my favorite energy drink? I, I, I like water.

Do the changes to pirate dreads make them more comparable to faction dreads asked a zealous retort. I don't think so. A zealous retort. That is rough. I'm, I could say something wrong there really quickly, but, I think that's one of those, wait and see what the price ends up settling at. But I, I, my, my, my guess is, is that, it is unlikely. It's unlikely that that will be the case. We have, you know, we've used faction dreads many times before, Faction Supers. We have never really told you guys you can't use them. We have lost BRs, I'm air quoting heavily here. We've lost BRs because people want to use their fun toys and unlike other alliances, we'd let you do that. But it won't be our, you know, our alliance policy. Right? And if some, if some FC whines at you, because you're made the BR look bad, just tell 'em to shove it. They're just letting their feelings out. But, you know, it probably will not be an alliance thing for us to use pirate dreads. But certainly with the changes, it's at least possibility. If, if unlikely, still. They're still gonna be about three price, three times the price of the Navy dread says Sapphire, right? And at that price, they're just, there's no way they make sense.

Rose says, I like root beat bums. They're super like not bad and not too jittery making. I have, is that an energy drink? I have no idea what's going on there. It's an energy drink. Okay.

All right. Last chance, you got any questions? Throw 'em at me right now and I'll answer them as best as I can.

What do you think the new systemwide effects with the upcoming changes? I have not seen the, like, cost to install them as far as what kind of, you know, workforce they'll use or whatever. So I don't know. And it very much depends on that. Like they look cool. I will definitely play with them, in some place, but, I don't know. I don't know what they're gonna use, like workforce wise and stuff like that. Power grid, whatever they call it.

Oblivion, remake. I, almost failed a semester of college because of Oblivion. So, I don't know if I'm looking forward to it or not. What's a good way to figure out the best PI to make? Certainly not to ask me, Silex Volcanoes,

Ashlion Aldent says, would would lance dread, are they worth turning into? No. As far as being useful, unlikely. You're probably gonna be just sitting on your lancer with nothing happening, you know. Get a faction dread, we list the ones that you should get.

Star citizen ship blades. So I did, I did fund the very initial Kickstarter, Corey and I have put no money into it since then, since 2014. So I don't, I don't, I, I've lost quote unquote 30 bucks or whatever originally it was.

Small gang lancers, thought Zoe. I mean, sure, why not? Small gang is a whole different thing.

You know, I'm a big Chris Roberts fan, but I will say like George Lucas' movies were saved in the edit and once he had unlimited vision, his movies started to suck, right? We are, we are better artists are generally better when they are in a stricture. The, you're defined by what you can't say more than what you can. And so, you know, the Beatles not being allowed to say certain things, get you Lucy in the sky with diamonds. And if they could say exactly what they want, I think what they would've said would've been worse. And you know, once George Lucas had infinite budget and CGI, the movies got worse. And for Chris Roberts and Star Citizen, I think that Roberts has never shipped a game until he was absolutely forced to by a publisher. And him being his own publisher is the worst possible thing that can happen to us. I think this is applicable in a lot of parts of our lives where, you know, we want the freedom and once we get it, we, it's too much for us. Right? And you sometimes you need someone to be accountable to. And Chris Roberts is very much a person like that. I've dealt with a lot of creative people in my life, and I'm a creative person myself, so I know this, very well, that when you have infinite control, you often get a worse product than when you have, the man there to, force your hand eventually.

Can we do a Star Trek group watch? I'd be down for that as long as we're not watching Discovery.

Celron says, I could listen to Asher talking the whole evening. You should do a podcast. I have done a podcast before.

Ranger Gama:

He's done a PI Live stream too.

Asher Elias:

True. Yeah.

Discovery got better after season two. Yeah. That was not hard 'cause it was pretty low. It wasn't hard to get better when you start that poorly. Strange New Worlds, whatever the, the new one is. It's okay. It's not that, it's not that bad. I mean it's certainly, there are some good episodes, but it's been a pretty bad run lately. Picard was pretty, pretty rough. It had a couple good episodes, but overall, ooh, that was rough. And then Discovery was rough and yeah, Strange New Worlds is, at least it's the best one in the last decade for sure.

Ranger Gama:

Lower Decks is pretty fun.

Asher Elias:

I, I haven't watched Lower Decks, so yeah, that's fair. And I've heard good things about it, so I, I shouldn't say I don't, I don't have any opinion on Lower Decks, but I've heard, yeah.

Picard season two sucked. I mean, all of the Picards sucked, but season two was particularly terrible. I mean, probably like, honestly, probably the best Star Trek show in the last 10 years was probably the Orville.

If you were given a chance to direct Star Trek Picard season three, would you make it so? I mean, I've heard that like, Patrick Stewart had like far too much creative control. This is actually just what I'm talking about where people don't, like work against themselves, not knowing it when they're given control. In sports, if you ever see like a head coach become the general manager, it's usually a bad thing because, they think they know what they want, but they actually don't. So, I feel like probably not if, if Patrick Stewart has as much control as I heard he did, I.

Best Star Trek movie was Galaxy Quest. That's not a bad answer, although there have been some pretty darn good Star Trek movies. I watched First Contact again recently. That was a great movie.

What MTG Chocobo are you hoping for Asher? Aron. I actually just brewed a Choco deck, the bant one that they released. I like the, I like a bunch of the cards that are in the set and there's some really cool stuff. I'm not a big Final Fantasy fan. The only one I've ever played is Final Fantasy Tactics, which was a great game.

The best Star Trek movie is Andor I have just started watching season two, but yeah. And or season one was so good and season two seems like it's, it's gonna be that way. Another recommendation if you guys are looking for a sci-fi series, if you haven't watched the Silo. I just finished the season one and two while I was on flying overseas on a plane. So those are very good. So if you haven't watched Silo, Silo season one, Silo season two are both good. And I read that season three has already wrapped finishing.

Final Fantasy tactics is a masterpiece. Yeah. Said sonnet size. Geez. And I agree. FF nine was not good. FF tactics was a maze balls says stretch meat, crotch, quake.

Silo on which platform? I don't know what that means. I, I sail the seven seas mostly when it comes to watching stuff. Man, I need to watch the last season. I'm, it's, that show's so good. I can't believe, I just keep delaying it. I don't like to watch a lot of TV is kind of my problem. I only do it if I'm sick or if I'm like flying.

Prefer the books. I mean, that's true for almost everything. Books just give you more time to work out. There there are only a couple things where they were, you know, the show or movie was better than the books.

Opinion on The Gorge Asher Elias, I dunno what The Gorge is, so I couldn't tell you.

I think you're pretty Gorge Tariel.

Alright. Krazzo, I'm pointing out that Orville is not actually Star Trek. Thank you. Krazzo. We, we didn't know until you wrote that out there.

The Gorge film. All right, I'll check this out later. Oh, it's a German film. Okay. Or is this just a German Wikipedia entry?

Anna tell, joy isn't here. She's attractive. That's my opinion. There you go.

Oh, you just link me a German Wikipedia entry. I don't read German.

What Icelandic meal freaked you out. I don't know how to say it, but it's like, hakara the fermented shark flesh, gross.

Sorry for being German. It's okay, you, you not your fault.

Alright friends, seems like we got through most of the questions. Thank you for showing up for the extended fireside answer edition. I will see you all next week. It was nice talking to you guys.

Does the alliance still need a lot of PI for fuel blocks or do we, so I don't know which fuel blocks we need Rars. But you can ask that in the, finance channel and I'm sure you'll get an answer.

Tariel says, can we get a shout out to Nemahs for being a cutie? I think you just did that, Tariel. Good job.
