Originally one of the spillover corps (alongside GoonPlatoon) before the max corp size was raise with the Sov skill in Revelations. The name was reappropriated for Vee's Bomber Wing for awhile before karttoon threw a hissy fit and stole most of our shit and the GoonFleet name. Now the primary corporation of CONDI, apparently there are still goons playing this horrible game.

GoonWaffe is a chill place to hang out. Having inherited the couch from our friends in TCF, we controlled most of Deklein for years before pissing off the rest of EVE enough for them gang up and kick over our sandcastle in the so called Casino War. Our current home system is 1DQ1-A in Delve.

By far, the measure of your worth in GoonWaffe is your ability to make posts on the forum. Much like strength and agility to an athlete or your ability to consume cheese products to anyone from Michigan, goons determine your merit based on good posts.

You are mistaken, Kim. We love noobs. We hate everyone, especially ourselves. And bad posters. As a bad poster, I can safely assure you that nothing will get you more hate than bad posting. Except, perhaps, not posting at all. FYI, good posting may be impossible.

It isn't like hazing that goes away once you are accepted as "one of us" or somebody new comes along to be the new guy. Goons make fun of each other and everyone else FOREVER. Bitter vets, directors, folks riding high on a cult of personality, CSMs, hard working logistics guys, poopsocking FCs, virginal CSMs, newbees, etc. Literally no one is safe from the heavy hand of mockery in SOLODRAKBANSOLODRAKBANSO. It isn't personal, it is just part of our delightful "culture". Hope that helps.

Edit: I see from your introduction post that you are over 50, and from Great Britain. Hello! The thing to remember is that you are mostly playing with boys, American boys. Yeah, most of them are over 21 and in college or whatever, but they lack seasoning, maturity, and dignity. Like all boys they are prone to silly shoving matches, and online these take the form of trolling, baiting, and generally being jerks. Young bucks puffing out their chests and seeing who flinches first. Just play along with it and it isn't so bad, but let them get a rise out of you and it will never, ever stop.
