Wascal was a former high school teacher who loved talking about space and astrophysics, before Neil DeGrasse Tyson made it popular.
He served in GSOL as well.
Every morning he logged into mumble and would say "Rise and shine to the squeal of swine".
Flew with us in countless gangs, gate-camps and ran 10/10s together. We cherish the memories and will never forget him.
